Loved the story, loved the narrator. One man's life story of living in rural Ireland during the 20th century. Amusing sometimes with some sadness too. I wish it wasn't finished I enjoyed it so much.

I have read and listen to hundreds of books and never given any sort of review . Good or bad. Had to for this one . Never enjoyed one so much. It was from a man from a different generation told so honestly . Very funny and sad all together. I’m sad to be finished .

This has to be one of the most beautifulist books i've ever read. I loved Maurice from the first moment we met. the narration was wonderful and the narrator made you feel you were sitting with Maurice while he was telling his story. I can say nothing else about this book only you won't regret reading it.
