About this listen

Tired of your boss bropropriating your ideas and presenting them as his own? Wondering if the pursuit of having it all has in fact resulted in having not very much? It is time to start channelling the spiky superwomen of history and conquer the s--t show that is the modern world. It is time to turn to women like Mae West and Agatha Christie, Hypatia and Cleopatra, Coco Chanel and Cixi.

In this irreverent guide they will help you figure out how to cope with impostor syndrome, dispatch a love rat, stand up for yourself, get politically engaged, kill it at work and trounce FoMo.

50 life stories of women from all over the world and all over history; some household names, some unknown (by me), but all remarkable. Told in a lively style with a touch of humor. I was sometimes a bit irritated by the edifying take away at the end of each story; some felt a bit sought for. This little minus was generously compensated by Elisabeth Hopper's cheerful but subtle performance, making it a very pleasant listen.

How you used precise dates and ages also that it was about history and all was historically correct also in the performance maybe try different people reading each chapter. However I have found it is really hard to find a fictional historically correct and accurate audiobook on Audible. It is such a good book though and I would recommend to anyone who is wanting to know more about the history of dare devil girls who have strived in a misogynist world where men where allowed to do anything they wanted to their wives but where also women were prevented from being in careers such as scientists, doctors etc.
