Ended it feral.

Harper and Nick shared a wall. A wall that easily was heard through. And Harper heard. She had recently moved in after a bad break up. These two had chemistry from the start, and after Nick told Harper to exchange numbers, things really began. Both broken, both needing to be seen, their feelings grew and the spice did too! Jen Aisling created characters with backgrounds that clutched my heart. Completely different, yet having the same needs, this story was interesting and the spice is just an added plus. Then Aisling adds the twist. This novella is fantastic, the perfect length to bring these two together.

Joe Arden and Marie Hawkins are the narrators and they bring out all the emotions. Arden is Nick, the broken child, the broken adult and the man with a huge heart. Arden certainly knows how to give the feels, and he did just that. Hawkins is Harper, the knocked down insecure woman. Each scene brings her back a little more, and Hawkins used her inflections to let me know exactly what she was trying to get across. These two are fabulous together and this story was perfect!
