Adam Kay is an award-winning writer and performer. His debut book, This is Going to Hurt, revisiting his former career as a junior doctor, is a literary sensation. About the Performer

Hilarious and really helpful!
Don't normally bother writing reviews....but I so, so enjoyed this.
My partner just had a heart attack and found the bit on that subject equally funny, informative and poignant.
The bit on childbirth was fantastic.
Adam Kay if you read these reviews....... you have genuinely helped my partner understand his heart attack better, and made him laugh about it for the first time.
Mark Watson was brill as well.
Thoroughly recommend.

Very entertaining listen, but more like a series of conversation podcast episodes
If you don’t like the format of discussion podcast episodes and are expecting something more like Adam Kay’s first book then this might not be for you.
This is however a very informative, interesting and entertaining exploration of different parts of the human body that if you don’t mind it feeling like multiple podcast episodes will be well worth a listen!
I learnt lots of fun facts and found it thoroughly enjoyable

This is a different angle from his books
It's more of a podcast then a book, but I loved it. I learnt so much about the brain, the heart, the lungs, and the reproductive organs. I found it witty and entertaining, and I hope there is a follow up. The two comedians are effortless in their banter and keeps the information thoroughly entertaining. Next time leave out the sound effects, but for anyone interested in biology this is a great listen.

Audio Book? Not really
While there is some good information here, a lot of it is rambling and Adam and Mark are constantly talking over each other which gets annoying. Not a patch on "This is going to hurt" and more like a podcast than an audiobook. Not sure its worth the price and I will be trading it for something else.

Funny in places but they talk over each other
The scientific history is very good and some of it amazed me, well explained. They delve in to some weird stuff along the way too as Watson does what he does beat but the constant talking over each other drove me.mad! it was a.pleasuee to hear a guest explanation of a subject or item because then I knew it wouldn't be an unstructured verbal brawl.
