Story
Wales is a land filled with mythology. Every breathtaking valley, towering mountain, shimmering lake, and magical castle has a mythical tale to entertain and enchant you. The Welsh, like other Celtic races, love to tell stories. From before the time of the Mabinogion and the Black Book of Carmarthen, they have passed dark winter nights telling Welsh fables, fairy tales and legends. The folklore of Wales and its history are interwoven with myths and legends that cross the centuries.

Welsh Joke
Listened to this and wish it had been read by someone who understands the Welsh language. The reader has no idea how to pronounce anything in this book correctly. Luckily most words are in English but the place names and historical people in this book need to be read properly by someone who knows the language of the books subject. It made the book barely listenable as I am Welsh and I cringed every time a word was destroyed. Worst audio book reading in Audible history.

An insult to Welsh history
To employ a narrator whose pronunciation of basic Welsh names is on a par with a Royal speaking in Geordie shows a total lack of sensitivity about the feelings of the Welsh. I can only think that the producers of this abomination mean as an insult to our country. CYMRU AM BYTH

Only buy if you want to laugh
Pretty clearly the text is auto-translated from another language and then it's read by someone who can't pronounce the most basic Welsh (or in some cases English placenames).

Dry and Boring
I was taking a trip to Wales and I’m a history buff but I couldn’t get through this short book. It was written and performed in such a mechanical way.
