I really can't stand Riley; she's selfish and treats Ridge poorly. She acts as if she's more important than the friendship between Ridge and Maddox. After she slept with Ridge, she showed him no care or respect. Now, she has decided that she wants Maddox instead. I won't be continuing with book 2 because I find Riley unlikable, and I feel the same about her friend Scar. Ridge goes above and beyond to protect and be there. Yes, he stalks her but she uses his need to be there for her and manipulates him. The truth is Ridge is good enough to be at her beck and call but not good enough to be seen with in public. She likes the pretty boy Maddox for public appearances and holding hands. Lev can't stand Riley and he's got her number to a tea.

I wanted to like this story. At times I did. But the amount of non consential stuff happening, makes it uncomfortable. I was hoping the end might lead me on to the next book, but it didn't.
