I had watched the show before listening to this audiobook so knew how the ending was due to play out. However this made me feel more emotions than the show did, the detail on the ending made it all feel a lot different than the way the show portrayed the ending.

This story has a great twist, I never saw it coming. It kept me guessing right till the end.

Book came as a recommendation for a friend so was a bit skeptical going in. By the end though, I could say I thoroughly enjoyed the story and the performance. I liked mostly that it kept you guessing as it was unpredictable on where the story would lead, but had many small clues scattered throughout to hint at the ending.

Cadence is a likeable character and everyone's motives feel very realistic and understandable.

Performance was fantastic and very emotional when it had to be!

Only negative is I felt the ending drags a little - like the Return of the King - but that's just a personal nitpick

A good book but slightly confusing so it helped I watched the show. Emily is fantastic as a narrator and I saw people say that her tone is the same throughout. I think for the most part it fits with the character so I enjoyed her narration and hope she do the future books, she also can do a wide range of emotions in her voice but not in a obvious way a more subtle natural realistic way, so thought that was clever
