Editorial Review

Small town, big secrets
Karin Slaughter is one of those authors I always turn to when I want a story that completely pulls me in. We Are All Guilty Here focuses on a small Southern town in the United States where a violent crime sends shockwaves through a community full of secrets. I’m intrigued that this isn’t just a whodunit, but more of a “what did we all do?” I’ve got a feeling it will leave us questioning everything—and talking about it long after. Expect a slow-burn suspense that packs a serious emotional punch. If you loved Pieces of Her or Pretty Girls, this one should already be in your wish list. —Dawn G., Audible Editor

I've read a fair few KL Slaughter books and thought they were good, but not great. THIS is a great story. It may shock in some places, the tale doesn't hide from the gritty aspects of psychopathy or paedophilia. As a mum, though, I found it bearable. There were twists enough to keep you guessing, likable characters and good narration. 10/10

Didn't want it to end!

The one thing I've found with audiobooks is that the narration can make or break a good story. This is a great story with a wonderful performance by the narrator. It takes twists and turns that you anticipate but don't expect. Karin Slaughter fast became one of my favourite true crime writers years ago, when I was still purchasing hard copy books. I'm happy to see that she hasn't lost her bite!

Fantastic All Around
