About this listen
Welcome to Waterfell Tweed, where things aren't as cozy as they seem....
Sandy Shaw was happy with her life running the village cafe and bookstore, until a series of murders in the sleepy village cause everyone to second-guess just how peaceful things are.
Join Sandy as she sets out to solve the killers, and get peace restored, in this box set collection of the fourth, fifth, and sixth books in the Waterfell Tweed Cozy Mystery Series.
This box set includes Murder Most Remote, Bang! You're Dead, and The Black Rock Murder.
Each novella is around 30,000 words long and is a cozy mystery, meaning they are safe from swearing, sex, violence, and cliffhangers. Each book can be listened to as a standalone but the series is best enjoyed if listened in order.

Cakes and corpses...
Another lightweight listen in a nice, gentle series. The stories from Waterfell Tweed always live up to their promise as a 'cosy', even if the village's body-count rivals that of Midsomer.
There are similar editing/grammar issues to the last collection but the stories are more consistent and the mysteries held my interest. It was nice to revisit familiar characters and I warmed to them much more easily this time round.
The narrator, Nano Nagle, gave an entertaining performance, and I didn't find the Australian accent as distracting this time because I was accustomed to it. Her Scottish and Welsh were a bit hit and miss - but then so are mine!
Overall it was another nice, relaxing listen, and I'd happily revisit the series when there is another collection of the stories. I hope Sandy branches out into investigating other crimes, not just murders, as the village is starting to feel quite perilous!

A good series
Three very enjoyable cosy mysteries. The pace is gentle and the mysteries are good which make the perfect listening on a lazy day.
The narrator did a great job and I found it very easy to listen to and get caught up in the stories.
Each mystery is resolved in a satisfying way leaving you ready to jump into the next adventure.
