From RT Book Reviews New Adult Award Winner comes a riveting and intensely suspenseful small-town mountain romance.

Tragedy had stripped Aurora of everything she once loved. But now she's back in Balsam Grove, ready to face all she's kept locked away for seven years. Or so she thinks. Aurora doesn't expect her first collision to be with the boy she left all those years ago. The boy who betrayed her trust with no regrets. The boy who is no longer a boy but a man with the same stormy eyes that swept her into his current before she ever learned to swim. She'd thought he was safe. He'd thought their path was mapped out. Turns out neither of them was ready for the crash at the bottom of the cascade.

Contains mature themes.

From the opening chapter these characters grabbed my attention as the storyline revealed how earnest young love was at first torn apart by traumatic events. Yet the rekindling of Aurora's and Jackson's relationship has a devastating effect on others.
The narrators did an amazing job of bringing all the characters to life and I highly recommend this audiobook.

I listened to this audio book as I love CJ Bloom’s narration and although the narration was good, the story was predictable - I guessed the ending about 30 minutes in. The first six hours of the book dragged and seemed to have no direction however the ending picked up. I’m glad I got to download this for free otherwise I’d have been left feeling cheated!

Predictable plot
