Kathy Coopman did a fantastic job in her writing, Sarah Puckett did an equally fantastic job in telling this dark, deeply emotional, nail bitting, at the edge of your seat story of sex trafficking, corruption, revenge, a screwed up sibling rivalry and a sweet romance. Highly recommend, but not for the squeamish.

Raw and gripping

This was a dark and dangerous adventure for the Chaz and Jillian. Love was made out of blood, crime and tears. This is a story of revenge, family feuds and abuse, and how to make it through the darkness. A perfect second chapter to book one. Sarah Puckett is one of y favorite narrators and she can do no wrong. Awesome story a must listen.

Gangs and girl traficking... if your family's business was so dark and criminal, what would you do? Jillian and Chaz are two very broken souls, who could've been happy and normal. They journey is tough, with heartache and violence. She is his enemy's sister but also a beauty inside and out. This story kept me on the edge, eyes widened and hopeful for a happy ending. I got it...
Sarah Puckett (narrator) is an awesome story teller...

It took me a little while to get into this book but it does have a good story; you can't wait to see what it is going to happen next. Broken people who love each other; good read and romance.

This was good, but I found myself drifting away from the story because there was too much inner dialogue. The premis of the story was good but personally I didn't feel the chemistry between Jillian and Chaz, and I think that was because of the aformentioned lack of dialogue between them. I also found the story difficult to follow occasionally, particularly at the beginning when it was focused on the past, but I still appreciate it was well written. Sarah Puckett did a good job of the narration and had an authentic male voice which worked well, something I wasn't sure was going to work at first.
