When romance novelist Kate Smith suddenly gets writer's block as she's beginning the final installment of her international bestselling erotic Bed 'n Breakfast series, she'll do pretty much anything to get her groove back. Like sneak into a Tire Depot waiting room because her words flow there just like complimentary coffee-smooth, sweet, and scorchingly hot. She manages to fly under the radar until the rugged and charming mechanic, Miles Hudson, notices the quirky redhead slinking in and out of the employees only entrance. But she's way too intriguing to blow the whistle on. Doing a test-drive of her new book idea sounds like a much better option.

Fun to listen to. Excellent narrators and they tell the story well. Highly recommended book.

An actually funny rom com with a clever meta romance plot, well fleshed our characters and a decent story.

The narrators were really good, particularly a fan of Teddy. Recommended for a light romance read

I won this copy of the audiobook, but have already read the kindle version and liked it enough to want the audiobook.

I love Amy Daws, she’s a go to author for me. This story is a complete 180 from her Harris Brothers series. No sexy footballers in this book. No, we have a hotter than hot greasy motor mechanic with a name as sex as sin, Miles Hudson (I’ve been picturing him with his coveralls tied at his waist throughout the whole book). The story follows Kate, an author with a huge problem. Writer’s block! When she goes to tyre depot to get her car serviced, she sits in there waiting lounge drinking the complimentary coffee and eating the complementary baked goods, and voila! She’s got her writing mojo back. Herein ensues lots and lots of laugh out loud moments as she returns daily to finish her book. A fantastic story (filled with some of the authors real life experiences), funny, serious, sexy and so very Amy Daws. I just loved it. Miles and Kate are perfect. Erin Mallon and Teddy Hamilton are new narrators to me and I loved them, time to find out what other projects they’ve done.

Hilarious

I really enjoyed this. It took me a while to get used to the voices, particularly the actress voicing Kate. But the overall story was fun and enjoyable. Miles was hot and sexy and spice was pretty damn hot! I’ll certainly listen/read more from Amy Daws in the future :)

I want to work at tyre depot…

I absolutely adore both Teddy Hamilton and Erin Mallon as narrators and they didn't disappoint, they did such a fantastic job narrating this book, I had a great time listening to it.
