Tosh Baker has outdone herself again. Each book seems to be at least as good as the prior one. I really appreciated the diversity of the characters in this novel both in identification and age. I enjoyed that most of them were getting closer to retirement than just leaving college. I was also pleased that this was not a coming out story. The long term friendships shared here were compelling, compassionate, loving and sometimes steamy. The biggest gift Tosh gives the reader in WKIR is a peak into her personal life and experience. It was a gift to see the personal notes she shares in this novel. My hope is that she never stops sharing her talent. Natsumi Bailey has also once again through her narration brought to life some wonderful characters with great emotion and incredible personalities. I would listen to any fiction she narrates. Her skills are outstanding.
