Everyone in the situationship doesn't know how to react or admit to their feelings! I felt we were given the surface of each character & I wanted more❤️
Allyson had Mercy’s voice down!! She was pleasant to listen to at 1.75x, which is faster than usual for me!! Her male voices were hit & miss, but otherwise, I will still listen to her in the future! PFP🦩 FLOCKVIP🦩

I love AJ's books! I was pulled in from the very beginning and couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next. I really enjoyed the chemistry between Mercy, Dorian, August, and Foster.
I originally read the book and was so excited when I saw it was coming to audio and I was not disappointed. Allyson did a great job on the narration. I look forward to listening to more of her work in the future.
I would recommend this book if you like omegaverse romances, MM romances, poly romances, dark romances, or bully romances.

This was a whole different kind of story for me, and I loved it. It was omegaverse and bully and enemies to lovers and m/m but also m/f/m/m and a murder mystery and I just didn’t want it to ever stop. I was so shocked by who the killer was, and I was actually really happy about that. Maybe other listeners saw it coming a mile away, but I didn’t, so I got to have that moment of surprise as well as suspense wondering who was committing the murders the whole time. The narration was really good, and I thought Allyson Voller was a really good choice to voice the main character of Mercy. I did however feel that when it came to the three leading men, she didn’t always give the best variation and sometimes I wished she’d given their tones a little more bass/baritone/etc. It wasn’t enough to have me dislike the story or the overall performance though. And I cannot wait for book two.

Mercy started off strong, and I liked her character at the start. The fact that she was hearing impaired made her character even more interesting. However, she became one of those TSTL characters and really frustrated me throughout the book.
The steamy scenes with MF, MFM, and MM vibes were scorching, but I wished there was more connection between the characters.
There was a bit of mystery/suspense in the story with dead bodies showing up around campus that had me trying to solve the crime.
The bullying wasn't too intense and overdone, causing me to not like the characters, but I wished there was more groveling, especially with the pool scene.
I'm hoping the 2nd book gives us more connection, and I can't wait to see what happens next.
I listened to the audiobook version of this novel, which was narrated by Allyson Voller. She did a fantastic job with the characters and really brought the story to life. Her voice was clear and understandable, and she was able to bring out the emotions in the characters. It was a pleasure listening to her narrate this novel.
