About this listen

It's no more Miss Nice Vampire.

Bo has turned her back on everything that's familiar and is now working for X, the dangerous Kakos daemon who demands that his identity be kept a secret. She's prepared to do just about anything to clean the streets of London of its crime, and she's no longer sure if she cares who gets hurt in the process. However, the vampire Families aren't going to be that easy to ignore. Lord Medici is continuing with his cold-blooded power bid while Michael is determined not to let Bo forget him. Add a mysterious case of a missing girl into the mix, and chaos is going to follow.

This 5 book series is about a bad ass vampire called Bo Blackman. Although she's short in stature she makes up for it with her big personality. There is romance, murder, intrigue, prejudice and friends sadly lost together with witches good and bad and of course us modest humans. Helen Harper is such a great author. I love how she brings all of the above together with a sprinkling of humour throughout. Once I'd finished one book I was jumping into the next. Saskia Maarleveld has greatly improved as a narrator and she certainly does help to bring the story to life. I would certainly recommend this series 👌 📚

always great narration. series starts out intriguing but as the books go along the characters do not seems to develop too much, forcing the plot lines to get more contorted to carry the story. but always entertaining…

A bit odd character development… but entertaining
