Fantastically Read
narration top notch, many emotions conveyed excellently throughout and dictated at the right pace. Story a good conclusion to the companions codex with suitable ends left untied and some fantastic battle scenes.

Rushed ending
Is there anything you would change about this book?
Mr. Salvatore is as always very good. I think it was maybe the book was too short
What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)
The ending was anti climatic. We all knew the orcs would lose ofcz. However with the massive build up and dire situation the Silver Marches were in, the final battle and ending was just too short and undetailed. Its hard to measure distances but the orc army had travelled for weeks out of Dark Arrow and an army simply isnt routed that far, that fast, no matter how many dragons are around, with no supplies alone for 100k orcs they would have all died of thirst and stavation. The retreat will slow and so will the hunting victorious army as men, orcs and beast's get tired. Then armies must reform and resume a steady progress, because if the routed army can rally before the chattered attackers you may yet lose the battle.
It just felt after the orcs where defeated, the ending couldn't come fast enough, and viola
ready for new adventures. Not at all as good or believable as the end to the Obuld war.
Did Victor Bevine do a good job differentiating each of the characters? How?
Mr. Bevine did a good job as ususal, as i personally listen to audiobooks at work with noice and such, the very very soft spoken dialogue can been too whispered as times, but i understand the effect he tries to get.
Was Vengeance of the Iron Dwarf worth the listening time?
It was well worth the time, my criticism above aside it was a good enough book and another listen may soften me.
