The story might have been okay but the narration spoilt it for me. Very robotic tone, inflections and emphasis in the wrong place. I tried adjusting the speed but it did not help. I very rarely abandon a book once started but, having got about half way through, I can't take anymore. I might give it a try on an e reader but only if free.

I did enjoy this story, I had to take a break part way through though as I found the narrator to be really bad. The author really should get it re-narrated. it didn't flow and was hard to listen to, which is a great shame, not one I would listen to again Like I have with city of wishes because of this.
