Summary

This bundle includes all four books in the Vengeance and Vampires series by USA Today best-selling author Alicia Rades.

I'm Rachel Collins, low witch and raven shifter in hiding. I spend my days tending the cash register at a local magic shop and my nights patrolling the streets for vampires with a death wish. Until the night I spot the mark of the Soulless on some lowly vampire's wrist.

The Soulless answer to Valkas, the original vampire and the most ruthless of them all. They’re the same bloodsuckers who murdered my parents and kidnapped my sister. I want answers — and maybe a little revenge.

Along comes Venn, a handsome, protective wolf shifter who takes my breath away. We're both after the same guy, and as much as it kills me to ask for help, I kind of need it.

Heaven help me. The dark, dangerous road we’re traveling together will either free my sister or get me killed.

Great story

I did enjoy this book, I had to take a break part way through though as I found the narrator to be stiff, it didn't flow and was hard to listen to, which is a great shame, not one I would listen to again Like I have with city of wishes because of this.

I gave up

The story might have been okay but the narration spoilt it for me. Very robotic tone, inflections and emphasis in the wrong place. I tried adjusting the speed but it did not help. I very rarely abandon a book once started but, having got about half way through, I can't take anymore. I might give it a try on an e reader but only if free.

Hmph

If the story teller did not have such an annoying voice ... What more can I say?

Whiny protagonist

The main character is whiny or stupid-brave by turns and should have been dead about ten times over. There was a disconnect for me as these ass kicking group of supposed adults blush if they’re caught looking at each other. Come on, they aren’t kids. I’m not going to bring any spoilers to the review but I have to say it all seemed contrived

Poor Performance

I wanted to hear a story...not listen to someone read a book. There is a huge difference. I found it difficult to enjoy the story through the poor performance. I simply couldn't listen to it all.

Super story but Stiff delivery

Great story! well written however, hard to listen to. Seems like a very stiff delivery. Ive listened to over 100 books on here. She has a pleasant voice just very broken delivery it just didnt flow well. not very good "acting" sorry.. 😕
