Not what I was expecting

This book was a little disappointing as it wasn't at all what I was expecting. I thought the book was going to be told from Sorren's point of view, which would have been interesting as I would have liked to find out more about his character, however the story is actually told entirely from Cassidy's point of view instead. In fact Sorren barely even appeared during the first half of the book. Still an enjoyable story though and I would definitely buy another if the author continues the series.

Greatness continues

Still a great story with wonderful characters. Sorren is being pursued by an old and deadly foe that is out to ruin his life. Cassidy and Teag are getting more accustomed to using their powers but are taking to many risks. Cassidy is becoming a better fighter too. So, what do you do with the bad guy looks like a cover model? If you are like Cassidy, you keep walking. Nothing that good looking can be true, and it wasn’t. Nephilim are invading Charleston and our friends need help in getting rid of them. It is complicated because you can’t kill them. They just disappear to reappear at a later fight. This story features some great new people who come to the aid of our friends.

Excellent!

This book series is amazing. I love all the characters, story telling and action. The narrator does a wonderful job of bringing it to life as well! I highly recommend to anyone that likes paranormal and action rolled into one.

As good as first book in series

Vendetta, second book in the Deadly Curiosities series, was just as good as the first book. Plot engaging and suspenseful, characters memorable and interesting, magical world realistic, and battles with evil, including fallen angels, riveting.
