Fast paced had to keep listening

This is normally the type of book I would shy away from as not a big fan of horror although Kat Green may have converted me. I had this on audible and after the first 10 mins I was hooked. I did shy away from reading it at bedtime but had to listen to it at every opportunity the next day. It’s a short book but packed and fast paced so great for the hungry listener.

Short but Ghosty

While 'Veiled' definitely relies on some standard "paranormal tropes" it is still a fun listen for anyone who enjoys paranormal content. This felt like young adult fiction, I think the closer you are to your teens/early twenties, the more you'll enjoy this one. Lesley Dessalles gives a good performance.

I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher.

A House of Twisted Secrets

Veiled is a book of dark twisted secrets that leave the spirits bound there unless they can be freed. Cara unwittingly buys this house prepared to make this her cozy home then all hell breaks loose and it is up to her to find out the truth not only to free the spirits but her friends as well. I loved this storyline and the cast of characters both dead and alive. The twist that comes out before it ends through me into a tailspin but it still was amazing. The writing is phenomenal as well as the narrator Lesley Dessalles as she gives the characters life and purpose. I highly recommend this book if you love horror, drama, and suspense. I received this book from Audiobooks Unleashed and this is my honest unbiased review. I can't wait to delve into more of Kat Green's books.

Great ghost story

What would you do if you moved into a house that was haunted? Would you be scared and leave or would you try to help the spirits? What if some of the ghosts were not friendly? What lengths would you go to in order to save your friend's lives?

This is a story that covers all of the above questions. Kara thought she was starting a new chapter as a divorced woman. Little did she know all the secrets the house she moved into had in store for her.

This was a great haunted house/ghost story. I liked the back story on the spirits haunting Kara's house. A great read!

Great Creepy Story

I am a fan of Kat Green. I love her twisted creepy stories. I also love listening to Lesley Dessalles narrate. I love how her accent just brings more to a story. This story grabbed me right away and did not let me go until the We hope you enjoyed this program. I love ghost and haunted house books, Kat really brought it with this book. This house is filled with multiple ghosts and Kat even gives the story of almost all of the ghosts in the house.

In the book Kara Tate buys a old house to settle in. Almost immediately strange things being to happen. Even though she is terrified she cannot stand the thought of leaving the house empty but also cannot sell the house and let it be someone else's problem. The longer she stays the more she learns about the Davenports and their awful fates. The Davenports were the original owners. It is up to Kara to put the Davenports and all the other ghosts to rest.
