Vampire Darcy's Desire takes the greatest literary romance of all time and reinvents it around the hottest publishing genre: vampire romance. No story lends itself better to adaptation. Two lovers try to overcome that which separates them: their pride, their prejudice, Darcy's vampirism, and the evil workings of master vampire George Wickham.

I'll be honest, my expectations of this were low, and true, it's no great work of literature, but it was sexy, romantic, exciting and a good bit of fun. Unlike some P&P based stories it is not an alternative view or a sequel... in fact it abandons any resemblance to the original story very early on, keeping the characters and taking them on a different journey... a vivid and compelling supernatual journey. It won't challenge you... Parts may even make you raise your eyebrows.. but if you like both Jane Austen and Vampires and want some indulgent entertainment this is it.

Surprisingly Enjoyable
