Özet

From USA Today and Amazon Charts bestselling author Meghan Quinn comes a fun, sexy story about the family dynamics that can stand in the way of rekindling a romance.

Prepared for a good time, Tessa is thrilled to spend the weeks before her sister’s wedding at their family’s favorite vacation spot: Santorini. Sandy beaches, stonewashed houses, attractive men—it’s heaven.

But Tessa’s idea of a girls’ trip comes to a screaming halt when her sister thinks it’s high time Tessa finds some love herself. Unfortunately, Tessa forgot about the deal she made back in high school: she has to find her soulmate before her sister’s wedding. Or else.

As she dodges suitors and her sister’s pranks, Tessa finds an ally in the oh-so-dreamy Myles, her childhood crush who just so happens to work at the resort. But Myles is dealing with some family conflict of his own. He’s elated at being reunited with Tessa, but his father’s refusal to acknowledge his interest in the family business and relegating him to only grunt work casts a dark cloud.

As Tessa and Myles help navigate their way through their families’ antics, they begin to realize that their past feelings may have a future—if only they can turn their island fantasies into something real.

Eleştirmen yorumları

“Narrator CJ Bloom brings Quinn’s characters to life using different pitches to distinguish the diverse women characters; narrator Lee Samuels uses a sexy voice for Myles while also portraying Myles’s father with a stern Greek accent. Quinn’s descriptive writing pulls the reader in with references to the Aegean Sea, the blue and white buildings, and the Greek culture.”—Library Journal

“Quinn spins a funny, sexy tale with a quirky protagonist against the backdrop of the breathtaking views found in a Grecian paradise.”—Library Journal

This book was my favourite from this author so far and I've read all her books.
It will make you cringe, laugh out loud hysterically, make you swoon and also rip your heart out, but leaves you with all the warm fuzzies.
Highly recommended and another book knocked out of the park by Meghan Quinn.

This felt very different to Meghans other books and took me a while to settle into. I loved the romance between Myles and Tessa they were so adorable. They have both watched each other holiday after holiday and never made a move then this holiday was the one to change them all. Tessa was a great character. She was awkward and rambles when shes not comfortable with someone but she aoon relaxed with Myles and it was easy to see the connection these 2 had. The story with Myles family and the business really choked me. I really felt for his dad. I wasn't a huge fan of the twin sister perfume contract part but it didn't deter me from enjoying the rest.

I didn’t enjoy this as much as other Meghan Quinn books, it was fine but the others of hers I’ve read have been at least 4 stars. There will be other people who feel the opposite to me and that’s ok, we can’t all love them all.

It was fine

I did enjoy the story overall but I did find the female narrator very irritating. I know you can't help your accent but it was for me very errrrr.

Another hilarious book, another cute romance to warm the heart. Fabulous narration! And so much nostalgia- Britney Spears Fantasy perfume, talks about their teenage years and delusional musings, and the strong bonds of sisterhood. Such a great story ❤️
