Summary

A long weekend in Dublin. What could possibly go wrong?

John Milton is working in a hotel kitchen while searching for information on the Group Fifteen agent who betrayed him in Russia. His plans are upended when a deadly shooting places an innocent young girl in his path. Aided by an enigmatic woman he meets in the hotel, he rescues the girl and plunges headfirst into a deadly feud between two criminal families feuding in the run-up to a high-stakes MMA fight.

In the underbelly of the city, where alliances are as brittle as glass, Milton must navigate through treacherous secrets and betrayals, ensuring the safety of the girl while locating the only person who can clear his name. The fight draws closer and the stakes are raised—survival becomes a race against time.

In a world where loyalty comes with a price, and the truth is often disguised, Milton will have to use all his wits and skills to protect the innocent, uncover the truth, and make it out alive.

An unusual Milton

This is probably the most low key book in the series but also, one that flows the nicest and easiest. Two and a bit days it took me. Can't wait for more!

Everything!

I wish that the John Milton series never ends! Fast paced, exciting, brilliant, thrilling listen -just like all the other John Milton books. Kudos to the author and to the narrator!

Not the best episode.

A bit of a lack lustre book in the series for me.
Some of the accents were incredibly irritating and a lot of going over the same stuff.
Hopefully it has set up a better next episode.

Another exciting episode for John Milton

Mark Dawson never disappoints, each Milton book gets better with every title. This time, once more, it;s a race for his life, while helping others to hold on to their lives. I listened this is in a little over 24 hours adter buying it. I know that the next book will be just as exciting, and each one that comes out is better than the one that came before. Once I have listened, I am a little disappointed that I didn't make it last longer.

The wonderful narration. I got totally lost in the story.

Asked what I disliked - when the story finished and knowing I’d have to wait until the next John Milton adventure comes my way.

A good listen. Enjoyed the book.

A good listen. Enjoyed the book, and it kept me engaged until the end. . Author obviously has a very in depth knowledge of Dublin. Narrator was excellent except for his horrendous attempts at a Dublin Irish accent, but to be fair, I'm Irish, and from Dublin, so I guess I can pick up on the on the discrepancies more than others.
