Summary

A long weekend in Dublin. What could possibly go wrong?

John Milton is working in a hotel kitchen while searching for information on the Group Fifteen agent who betrayed him in Russia. His plans are upended when a deadly shooting places an innocent young girl in his path. Aided by an enigmatic woman he meets in the hotel, he rescues the girl and plunges headfirst into a deadly feud between two criminal families feuding in the run-up to a high-stakes MMA fight.

Mark Dawson never disappoints, each Milton book gets better with every title. This time, once more, it;s a race for his life, while helping others to hold on to their lives. I listened this is in a little over 24 hours adter buying it. I know that the next book will be just as exciting, and each one that comes out is better than the one that came before. Once I have listened, I am a little disappointed that I didn't make it last longer.

Well done Mark for another gripping instalment of John Milton. Long may they continue. It has felt a long gap since book 21. Fantastic performance by David Thorpe.

I have loved nearly all of the John Milton books and this one was also great. The protagonist is an adorable hero, and I really like the ones that Ziggy is in because I love tech. I am so depressed it was over so quickly, and I may need to follow the advice of a fellow reviewer and listen to all the books in order all over again.

Totally brilliant, just wish it was longer!
