Summary

Being an identical twin doesn't come without issues. No one can tell us apart, not even our parents sometimes. We don't usually use that to our advantage, but it comes in handy when my brother needs help breaking up with his boyfriends - which happens more than I'd care to admit.

I know it's enabling him, but I can't say no to Anders. I will do anything for my twin. The breakups always go the same; they're swift and simple. Until Reed. He's everything I've fantasized about but never allowed myself to have.

When I give in to temptation and begin to freak out, it's not because he's a guy. It's because he thinks I'm my brother, and I can't bring myself to tell him the truth.

Contains mature themes.

Great book

Great book, it’s such a shame some people can not except others as they are. Great performance

couldn't finished it

too cliche for me I mean seriously how many times can a misunderstanding be left un corrected. joel should have been the only narrator it's difficult to listen to the other when every character sounds the same and every sentence is shouted

Funny easy story

Cute, funny, interesting, and entertaining. They're so perfect together, the way the author managed the confusion, falling in love with a twisting secret, was perfect.
This book made me download the next one of the series and I love it too.

The only note... Whoever narrated Law, has NO idea how to talk sexy and commanding. Whenever he did the "sexy voice" he sounded more like an angry 90-year-old gremlin with throat problems

Some times one performer is all you need .

An interesting book and would have enjoyed it more if read solely by Joel Leslie . Having the two readers made the feel like it was written by two different writers and the characters not connecting at all . I was interested enough to get through the book but has put me off buying the next one . Hard to rate performances as an overall as they are so different . I’m sure Antony Ferguson would be great with a different book as his voice is good just very monotone through out this book . I sometime wonder if the production company’s ever listen to the finished book before releasing them .
So the story itself was interesting enough for me to finish , with some nice humour in it ,but glad it was on my included list and I didn’t have to pay for it .

Complex love story

Identical twins make this strange and interesting throw in homophobic parant and you have one complex and interesting story.

twin hijinx

I'd previously read the book and loved it, so thought I'd give the audio a go when I spotted it. I'm familiar with narrator Joel Leslie, but the other narrator Antony Ferguson was new to me. Both were great and the dual narration was perfect for this story. I'm not usually one for lying between MC's in a story, so beware if that's not your thing either, but the motivations behind them in this story seemed believable and understandable. I love the twin aspect and the mistaken identities angle, and the flaws of all characters were really interesting. Some angst in this story, not loads but definitely more than mild. Good level of steam, complimenting a great story!
I am looking forward to hearing the other twin's story!

Great story

This story was excellent from start to finish. The characters are perfectly portrayed to draw you into feeling their heartache. Loved the narration.

Great easy listen Rom com.

This was a a funny short Rom com with twin shenanigans - and not even the mistaken swapping like a usual twin story which was refreshing.
It’s pretty low angst.
The narration was good although I found the volume needed changing between the two (something off with the formatting maybe?)
I enjoyed both narrators voices.

Twins

When Law pretends he’s his twin Anders and goes to dump a date for him it doesn’t quite work out as planned . The minute Law sees Reed he wants him when they end up on a one night stand Law keeps away but the universe has other plans when Reed brings his school class to his dojo . Instead of admitting who he is Law still says he’s Anders although he tries to confess he finds it too hard so he’s just waiting for the truth to come out .

A good book ruined by an awful performance

I read this book ages ago- I’m a big Eden Finley fan- and enjoyed both it and its follow up, about Anders. I wish I hadn’t listened to this audio version of it, though.
Joel Leslie is brilliant- as always- and characterises Reed perfectly. Antony Ferguson, unfortunately, is truly awful and I really wish Eden had asked Joel to perform the whole book.
Reed’s voice when performed by Ferguson doesn’t match Joel’s version of him or the image portrayed by Eden’s writing. In one sex scene he sounds out of character and (to quote Mr Ryan Wesley) like a ‘surly dom in some sleazy video chat’- it’s toe-curlingly cringeworthy.
A good book spoilt by a poor choice of performer. Please let Joel do the whole thing next time!
