Summary

Wes Silver wasn't looking for love, but when July Mayson literally knocks him on his ass during their first encounter, his world is turned upside down by the quirky blonde, and every moment with her makes him more determined to protect her.

July Mayson doesn't understand the pull she feels toward bad-boy biker Wes Silver, but she knows that being with him is like nothing she's ever felt before. Now all she has to do is tell her overprotective father, Asher Mayson, that she's found her boom.

Contains mature themes.

Great Author Great Book

This is a romantic, erotic, drama, action, and a bit violent.

I discovered this author a year ago and she always amazes me. I love the comedy and romance.

Asher Mayson and November in Book 1, are the proud parents of daughters and July is the oldest.

July Mayson is a vet and for some time now someone has been dropping off dogs that are barley alive, all never survived. The fact that someone is running a dog fighting ring in or close to her town is not her biggest issue, it's when she tries stop it when she finds herself is the normal world of the Mayson's, trouble.

Wes has fought for his country and when he and his men come back to the states to settle down, in a small town he finds more than a place to live but a woman he can't get out of his head the moment she tried to run him off the road. The more trouble she gets into the more he can't help but to protect her.

Gotta love Aurora Rose Reynolds, she puts comedy, love and drama and it comes out great. I can always count on a great story from her.

All grown up

I keep telling myself there's no way ARR can out do herself and with every new book she puts out she proves me wrong. July meeting her dream man had my heart from the beginning and ran with it for the intimate of alpha goodness. Ok now now the Narrators... Holy fantastic job. They had me salivating with their perfection.

I had to give it a second look.

If you could sum up Until July in three words, what would they be?

When I first saw this one, I did not consider it. Then it kept showing up, so I reconsidered. I am glad I took that second look. It was good with a good story line.

Who was your favorite character and why?

July, liked the story about how she got her name.

Have you listened to any of Jillian Macie and Roger Wayne ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes, I am NOT a Macie fan. It helps with the male voice, but there needs to be more male voice. ' Macie needs to quit reading, she is constantly getting bad reviews. Her voice is too breathy since she ie trying to be sexy. Unfortunately, she does not pull it off erll.

Any additional comments?

If you can get past Macie, this is a good book.

Motorcycle Club

July Mayson is a veterinarian who finds a dog or dogs that are barely alive, when she arrives at work every morning . She does her best to treat them so that they can recover, but it is a downhill battle.

Wes Silver tracks July down after a near motorcycle collision. He shows up at her veterinary practice to give her a piece of his mind and ends up adopting two of the patched up dogs. Together they come to the reality of why so many almost dead [or dead] dogs are showing up. They are determined to find out who is doing it and putting a stop to it.

In the meantime their physical attraction to one another cannot be ignored. July is a professional business woman and Wes is a retired Navy seal who has become known for his motorcycle club chops.

There are many more facets to this story, but relating the twist & turns would be spoiling this for the reader.

Story: 3.5 solid Stars. There are so many characters to keep up with & details that one doesn't know are important or not. I find this is the case with most 'first in series' of books; they get much better as the series rolls on. The focus need not be on all the secondary characters.

Narrations I love Roger Wayne and Jillian Macie do a fair job (Jillian three stars) Wayne (four stars) I chose to listen to this on 1.25 x's speed which made Jillian Macie narration much more palatable.

Overall: Great 'first in series' book and I look forward to the rest of them. I do have one question. Have we really gotten to the point where we cannot think of original names and have to name entire families after months in the year? *wink*

The publisher summary reports "contains mature themes" that is an understatement! It contains graphic, mature scenes of the erotic nature as well as strong language and violence both toward animals and humans.

Love all ARR books just not this one...

Until November is one of my favorite books so I was thrilled when this book came out. I was so disappointed. The book has no real story line.

Duet takes the narration to the level of conversation

This book is more performed then narrated so the interaction between the characters is more realistic. This story sets up a new series while continuing the saga of the Maysen family in Tennessee. The children have grown up and are all mostly in their 20s so are ready for their own stories. This book introduces a group of bikers- several ex-military- to to cast of characters. Good beginning for this next generation. There is kidnapping, a group of sex trafficking, dog fighting drug abusing villains, our Alpha biker investigating tough guys, and pretty though at times air head women most of whom are related. A must for fans of this series!
