Summary
Der 19-jährige Student Jimmy Robertson gewinnt bei einer Quiz-Show eine Traum-Reise; er darf sein Reiseziel selbst wählen. Als der Bordfunker ausfällt, nimmt Prof. Gordon Jimmy, der Amateurfunker ist und mehrere Diplome hat, sogar mit auf eine Reise zum Mond. Doch die Funkanlage des Raumschiffs wird während der Landung auf dem Mond durch einen Meteorit beschädigt und die Crew von der Außenwelt abgeschnitten...
