Reading Book 2 To Find Out What Happens Next. So Can't Wait.

Fantastic Story

I really wanted to enjoy this more than I did, it's my favourite type of book and I've listened to a few from the female voice actor before and although her pauses bother me I can kind of get over that normally but I really really wish the author knew how to explain dialogue more than "said" it was painful how often it was used and I found myself eye rolling at it constantly. Once I had noticed it, it took away a lot of the enjoyment of the rest of the book for me as I was constantly just waiting for the next round of "he said, she said, said, said, said" enjoyed the plot and the story line. Not sure if I enjoyed it enough to carry on the series or whether to just find something else similar as there is so many books along the same story line.

I think that this is a fantastic start to this series. I listened to it in one sitting and thoroughly enjoyed it. The narration is really well done by both voice actors, Chris Chambers and Stephanie Rose. I cannot wait to listen to the next book in the series.

I’m not sure where to put this book. I loved the story line but I’m feeling that there are points in the book that don’t fit. Now I love Raven and Bens chemistry and I’m excited by that. But I was wanting less of some parts and a lot more in others.
The writing on the whole is great but not my favourite I’m sorry to say. But it was lifted me out of my reading slump and reminded why I love being lost in paranormal. Will I read the next one. Yeap as I need to know what happened to be Ben and Raven. Frankly I am always a bit in love with a shifter or a paranormal romance.
