About this listen

The story that began with Unwind continues.

Connor and Lev are on the run after the destruction of the Graveyard, the last safe haven for AWOL Unwinds. But for the first time, they’re not just running away from something. This time, they’re running toward answers, in the form of a woman Proactive Citizenry has tried to erase from history itself. If they can find her, and learn why the shadowy figures behind unwinding are so afraid of her, they may discover the key to bringing down unwinding forever.

Cam, the rewound boy, is plotting to take down the organization that created him. Because he knows that if he can bring Proactive Citizenry to its knees, it will show Risa how he truly feels about her. And without Risa, Cam is having trouble remembering what it feels like to be human.

With the Juvenile Authority and vindictive parts pirates hunting them, the paths of Connor, Lev, Cam, and Risa will converge explosively - and everyone will be changed.

Neal Shusterman continues the adventure that VOYA called "poignant, compelling, and ultimately terrifying".

After reading the first book years ago I'd forgotten about this gem, finding the saga here was a great surprise. Great character development and story! Highly recommended

I haven't read a single book from Neal Shusterman that I didn't thoroughly enjoy so far. Just like in the previous installments the story is fresh and suspenseful, the pacing is perfect, and the characters are nuanced. This combined with Luke Daniels' soulful narration brings us to the definition of a perfect audio book. I can only recommend it!

I enjoyed the first two books and this one did not disappoint - there are lots of thought provoking themes and the storyline is engaging. Sometimes with multiple protagonists you have a preference for one or other and this isn’t the case with this series at all, they all have parts to play that are interwoven in a really engaging way.
It’s a shame the first two books haven’t been recorded for audible, but at least this was read by Luke Daniels, who is a firm favourite of mine for sci fi/ fantasy series. One thing I wish in general with audiobooks is that we could skip the reading out of web addresses, but that’s not restricted to this book.
