Was it worth the wait - 100% absolutely
This was an absolute masterclass in how to write a found family contemporary romance.
I will never rival Nicole (aka the true Mrs Lockwood) but I have been patiently waiting for this book since I read Consider Me. I always knew that Adam was a special character and deserved so much better than Courtney - Rosie exceeds every expectation that I had for his HEA.
When you wait so long for something you something wonder if the reality is going to live up to your expectations but have NO DOUBT that Becka absolutely smashed it out of the park. From the first chapter, this book had me laughing, swooning, kicking my heels, blushing and mopping up my tears. The character growth of both Rosie and Adam was a joy to see. Their relationship as a couple and then with Connor as a family is beautiful representation of what happens when you find your person, they choose you, consistently show up for you and they love every single part of you even the parts that you believe to be broken. It is not a journey that will be easy but it's worth it.
I adore this group of characters and their unwavering support intermixed with their banter is a heartwarming balance and so refreshing to read. This is what makes this series feel like home.
Kasha and Alex have done a wonderful job bring Adam & Rosie to life and I loved every moment of this audiobook
