About this listen

Fifteen years ago, 29 Barley Street, South London, became notorious as the scene of alleged poltergeist activity which led to the death of young Holly Wasson. The shadow cast by this episode is still felt in the town and amongst the gang of friends who were caught up in the tragic event.

When one of the group dies in horrific and strange circumstances, Matt Hunter, former minister and now professor of sociology, is called in to investigate.

This is an exciting, pacy story with chapters ending with cliff-hangers. A proper page turner!

A really well written thriller. I love suspense and bit of horror and I got that and more.
Have listened to both his books now and enjoyed both. They get right in your brain.

If you like it dark and uncomfortable then tune in. Amazingly written by Peter Laws. Unleashed goes to places we know exist but seldom talk about. I need more!!!

I really like this series, but found the animal bits quite sad, nearly stopped listening, but it is only a story, good narrator, can't wait for the next one, always a good twist & back story with them, great 👍

great story

Nice to have a low key thriller with believable characters and realistic dialogue. I was a bit put off at first by the narrator’s dour voice but as I got into the story more it didn’t matter and fit the tone of the book well.
