Brilliant

Such a brilliant book, Sophie white is a brilliant author and really sucks you in to this book. It felt like a subject that would resonate with almost everyone, that feeling of keeping up appearances on social media. Such a clever book and really made me think about my own relationship with social media. Have listened to this 4 times now and take even more in each time. Brilliant!

Enjoyable but has its flaws

Enjoyable for the most part and well read, however the final chapters were very disappointing. While the rest of the book was believable enough, the festival went beyond satire into plain silliness. I’ll still read White’s books of course because I like her style (and love her podcast!) but I hope she takes more time with her final chapters in the future.

As addictive as insta

I found myself going back and back to this story. The characters are well developed and easy to like. White is at her best when she drops in tidbits about the realities of motherhood and this book has a number of those gems fitted throughout as one liners. The plotline takes some odd twists and turns but overall is a satisfying second installment to this series.
