I was not sure about this, but I had a credit, audible suggested it so I thought I'd give it a chance, worst case scenario i could return it.
But after the second chapter i was really enjoying it, it's well written and investigated, the narrator is excellent and I will be looking for other things he's narrated.
It's not a book all about little green men and the end of the world, it looks into very varied items and sets out what is known without forcing you to believe!
I really enjoyed it, and would recommend giving it a go if you aren't sure.

Good story but the hilariously stupid sound effects that accompany the narration ruin it. Shame.

The introduction was a little dense, but made perfect sense in the context of the rest of the book. The chapters were fabulous and the intro best as an epilogue!

Thoroughly enjoyed this insightful and unnerving examination of unexplained phenomena. Best book I have yet to listen to on audible.

If you are like me and love a mystery and have a deep yearning for the answers then this is the one for you. It is creepy as hell but also fascinating and captivating at the same time, I even went a step further to investigate some of the cases further online as I found myself so attached to the mysteries.
Richard is fantastic at Narrating and really sets the scene and I just hope he continues to make more series like this. You must also make sure you sign up to his extra Podcasts for more of the unexplainable and mind bending stories. I really came away from this experience even more compelled to ‘believe’ than ever before and can’t stop thinking about some of the cases.
Word of warning ‘ Do not listen in bed at night!’ You will never sleep again!
