Great read (listen)! I hope there's a sequel. chapter 11 especially was so full on I needed to almost take a breather!

I really enjoyed listening to this book while on holiday. It’s not usually my genre, but it came highly recommended by a friend — and I’m glad I gave it a chance. Once I got into it, I was hooked and couldn’t wait to follow the characters on their journey.
If you enjoy gritty fight scenes, a strong theme of good versus evil with biblical undertones, and explicit adult content, this book will be right up your alley. There are quite a few characters to keep track of, so I’d recommend listening to it in quick succession. Don’t let that put you off because you will soon be rooting for your favourite characters.
It’s definitely an addictive listen, but not the kind of story you can dip in and out of — it demands your attention. I’m really hoping a second book will be commissioned, as I’d love to see where the story goes next.
