Story
Sharon Osbourne has lived - in her own words - 'fifty lives in fifty years'. As the daughter of notorious rock manager Don Arden, Sharon's childhood was a chaotic mix of glamour and violence, villains and diamonds. In rock star Ozzy Osbourne, Sharon found her soul mate, yet Ozzy's drug- and alcohol-fuelled excesses - which culminated in his attempt to strangle her - made their marriage a white-knuckle ride from the start; only her devotion to their three children gave her the will to survive.

People ask me how come I'm still alive, and I don't know what to say. When I was growing up, if you'd have put me up against a wall with the other kids from my street and asked me which one of us was gonna make it to the age of 60, with five kids and four grandkids and houses in Buckinghamshire and California, I wouldn't have put money on me, no f--king way. But here I am: ready to tell my story, in my own words, for the first time. A lot of it ain't gonna be pretty. I've done some bad things in my time. But I ain't the devil.

Gary Barlow is one of the most successful British musicians and songwriters of all time, but 15 years ago, as he himself admits, he hit rock bottom - he was out of shape, out of work, depressed. Food for him had become an addiction, a means not only of comfort but almost of self-medication as he grappled with the cruel twists of fate of musical stardom. In 2003, as he struggled with the disappointment of an underperforming solo career alongside the tireless media taunts; Gary turned to food.

The long-awaited autobiography of one of rock's true megastars. Rod Stewart (aka Rod The Mod and to a very select few, Dad) was born the working-class son of a Scottish plumber in North London. He was never, as some stories later had it, a professional footballer or a gravedigger, though he did become a bit of a singer - and a fairly good one at that.

A candid insight into a charmed life
- By Mark H on 27-10-13
Summary
I thought my life might become less eventful as I got older. How wrong I was! The past few years have been some of the most life-affirming, frustrating and downright unpredictable of all. Joy and heartbreak, betrayal and recovery, love and laughter. There's so much to tell, and quite a few fireworks along the way.
Sharon Osbourne's life has always been an extreme rollercoaster ride. And despite her best efforts, the last few years have been the most dramatic and turbulent of all. In her gripping new autobiography Sharon reveals the truth behind the headlines. There have been times of huge joy and pleasure - becoming a grandmother for the first time and seeing both Jack and Kelly come through testing times to find happiness and contentment at last.
But there has also been a lot of heartache. Sharon describes the shocking and unexpected battle to save her thirty-year marriage to Ozzy - and the devastating betrayal that lay behind their separation. She also lived through every mother's worst nightmare when Jack was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis - and writes movingly of her hopes and fears for her beloved son.
A tough but fair judge on The X Factor, Sharon is just as hard on herself. She is honest about the mistakes she has made - from misguided plastic surgery to her battles with her weight and body image. Filled with laughter, tears and hard-won wisdom, Unbreakable is as funny, frank and fearless as Sharon herself.

A great follow on from the first
After listening to her first book extreme where Sharon reads her story herself it was a great shame to see that she did not do the audible for this one. Hence only 4 stars! However, Imogen Church managed to give the impression of Sharon very well and soon, for me , the voice could have been Sharon anyway. So well read Imogen!! This book follows on nicely from extreme, although there is another book in between them which I have just noticed,. It explains about the tv show the osbournes, jacks MS diagnosis, the birth of his first daughter Pearl, the terrible turbulent marriage between Sharon and Ozzy at the time, her time on the x factor shows but m o st of all how a broken, tired woman gets up and carries on with her work etc showing how strong Sharon Osbourne can really be.....An inspiration to me and many others no doubt.

Sharon Osborne is fantastic!
I absolutely loved this book! I couldn't stop listening and laughing to all her witty commentary! Not only did I learn new things about her I had no idea about. I adored all the words of wisdom that she bestowed on her readers. I certainly don't know her or Ozzy, but I imagine if they are anything like she writes about I would very much enjoy chatting with them. The fact that she included facts about Black Sabbath was definitely a plus and made my dad's day when I shared all I had learned!

This is a true story...
Mrs Osbourne puts her life story out there, no- holds- barred. I love that this is a true account of how she feels as a woman, wife, mother, friend, and business woman. The narrator was good except for the Ozzy voice, but overall, well done and easy to listen to.
