On account of the superficial points of agreement between Islam and Christianity, many don't see how tremendously deep the divides between them really are, and fewer still have considered the evidence for each faith. How is jihad different from the Crusades? Can we know the life of Jesus as well as the life of Muhammad? What reason is there to believe in one faith over the other, and what difference can the Gospel really make?

You can believe because of the evidence, not in spite of it. For the first 35 years of his life, J. Warner Wallace was a devout atheist. After all, how can you believe a claim made about an event in the distant past for which there is little forensic evidence? Then Wallace realized something. Christianity was a lot like the cold cases he solved as a homicide detective - cold cases that turned out to have enough evidence, eyewitnesses, and records to solve.

Out of that first meeting came 24-7 Prayer: an international movement of prayer, mission, and justice. Red Moon Rising is the story of how that movement continues today - and how each of us can be a part of the miracles God is doing through a new generation.

What can the call to discipleship, the adherence to the word of Jesus, mean today to the businessman, the soldier, the laborer, or the aristocrat? What did Jesus mean to say to us? What is his will for us today? Drawing on the Sermon on the Mount, Dietrich Bonhoeffer answers these timeless questions by providing a seminal reading of the dichotomy between "cheap grace" and "costly grace."

Summary
Born out of Premier Radio's popular Unbelievable? podcasts, this audiobook invites listeners to unpack some of the most common objections to Christianity, equipping them to respond to sceptics and better understand the reason for their faith.
Do your friends find your faith to be Unbelievable? Conversations matter. Yet, recently, good conversations about faith have been increasingly squeezed out of the public sphere. Seeking to reopen the debate, Justin Brierley began to invite atheists and sceptics on to Premier Christian Radio to air arguments for and against the Christian faith. But how has 10 years of discussion with atheists affected the presenter's faith?
Reflecting on conversations with Richard Dawkins, Derren Brown and many others, Justin explains why he still finds Christianity the most compelling explanation for life, the universe and everything. And why, regardless of belief or background, we should all welcome the conversation.
Justin Brierley is presenter of Premier Christian Radio's Unbelievable? podcast. He also Senior Editor of Premier Christianity Magazine. Justin splits his time between radio presenting, editing and serving in his local church. He enjoys finding fresh ways to create conversations about faith through programmes, videos and articles that bring theology into the real world.

A gracious and gentle defence of the Christian faith
I enjoyed listening to this book. It was easy to listen to and I found it both encouraging and informative.
It is a well structured book that gives reasons (both personal and objective) for accepting Christian beliefs as true - even in this modern scientific world.
It is intellectually engaging, without being overly technical. Both accessible to the average person yet interesting enough for the more thoughtful person.
There is nothing particularly new in the content, but it is put together in a concise and persuasive manner. It is not at all dogmatic, and is at all times respectful of people with differing views. The tone is gentle and winsome.
The presentation is in a friendly and conversational tone. Having the author read the work gave it a personal feel, and Justin's voice was easy to listen to.
I would recommend it for anyone curious about the Christian faith.

Refreshing Read
Having been a Christian all my life, I've had my fair debate scrap with Muslim friends & have learned that showing genuine love far outweighs any philosophical exchange about my faith.
This book methodically dissects arguments by atheists & beautifully dismantles view points with a clinical approach. I like that the book was fair in its assessment without going all holy & patronising to Christians. I also liked that due respect was given to the atheist characters mentioned.
If you're looking for a down to earth book explaining faith in Christianity & Jesus, look no further.

Justin is awesome!
I’ve been a fan of Justin’s radio show “Unbelievable?” and knew his book would not disappoint. He is a Christian who has conversed with atheists and non believers for ten years and knows the answers to their honest questions. His book is an entertaining read while making a clear case for the existence of a creator God and that that God must be Christ. Well done, Justin!

A grouping of truly horrible arguments
Unfortunately Justin doesn't actually try to demonstrate that any of his claims are true. Like all appologists, a lot of ideas get made up and asserted as true, but none of those ideas are ever demonstrated to be true.
