Summary

What if you could design and help shape a better future, as well?

Look, style, trends. They are all around us, and it’s just fine, but design should be more than just aesthetic, design should be for the people. This is where user experience comes in. UX design is a human-centered approach focusing on empathy that is transforming the business industry.

Better products, interfaces, and contents designed to make life easier for people - companies are beginning to understand that useful products and customer satisfaction are essential elements to the success of any business. And that is why UX design jobs are on the rise (one of the 25 highest paying entry-level jobs of 2019, according to Glassdoor).

In this audiobook, I will introduce you to the fundamentals of UX design, such as:

  • What is UX, and how bad and good design secretly shape our behavior
  • What are the key principles to make valuable design for users
  • What is the design process - from goal definition to user research and launch
  • How to wireframe, test, and develop to fit people needs
  • An introduction to visual design principles
  • How to get out of your head and design for real life
  • How to put empathy at the center of your design process
  • How UX designers can use their superpowers to foster social impact
  • What are the user experience job opportunities out there and how to lend a high salary UX job

User experience is everywhere, from the dress you’re wearing to the smartphone you’re holding. As UX designers, we are the architects of everyday human interactions and experiences. And that gives us tremendous power.

Intrigued? Then, learn UX design today and shake your career up!

Snore

The narrator voice is annoying. Like most things web tech, a lot of common sense design principles are given buzzwords and over importance. These concepts in a real world, non corporate environment aren’t easily executable for various reasons- the primary one being budget. In my opinion if you’re looking for a corporate world career in UX this book is helpful as general information.

Read by a bot, too bad.

Read by an AI text to speak tool. They did pretty well, but once you notice it , you can’t I hear it. Context of the book was good. Will have to return and just by the book and read it myself.

Perfect even for non-designers

I am not a designer and that is why I’m recommending it to all the non-designers out there. Especially tech companies owners will find lots of valuable insights to build better product and win the market. Crystal clear and very well narrated to
