Can the mysteries of the human heart ever be unravelled?

Pursuing a scientific explanation for a disturbing and unexplained phenomenon, Jeremy's sceptical nature is thrown off course when he meets Lexie, the town librarian.

As they work together, ghostly occurrences and passionate moments converge, forcing Jeremy to realise that there are some truths science cannot explain, as he finally appreciates the pleasures of exploring the heart.©2005 Nicholas Sparks Contemporary Genre Fiction Kurgu Romantik Small Town & Rural Women's Fiction Çağdaş Romantizm Samimi

Sit back, listen and relax. Great narrator-what a talent! Good story with many memorable moments.

I liked the story, the mystery of the lights, I was hoping there was not going to be a answer. I didn't like the music ever at the end of each chapter and beginning of the next, it is pointless, annoying and made it hard to hear the story sometimes. Over all I enjoyed the book.

Charming Story

I wrote a review prior to this one where I distinctly felt irritated by the story. I found it took a long time before anything actually happened and felt cheated because normally I really enjoy Nicholas Sparks books and I wasn’t enjoying this one. However I persevered and eventually the tempo picked up and I revise my original view original review to this what you’re reading now.

The story is good but as I said earlier it lacks the excitement that his books normally have. Still, it wasn’t bad and it won’t put me off reading his other books.

Took a while to get into it but overall it was ok
