Stephen Fry is fantastic as always!
I preordered this as I thoroughly enjoyed Mythos and Heroes and I now can't wait for the Odyssey! I cannot recommend the series enough!
Thank you Mr Fry

Stephen Fry is excellent as always
Loved it, although it was harder to follow with the abundance of characters on both sides, compared to Heroes or Mythos. Still would really recommend for everyone who loves a good story

Fabulous
Totally enjoyable, educational. All these years you pick up bits and bobs about Greek legends but now hear it in one place, terrific.

Marvellous.
As someone who has both read and studied the Iliad this is by far one of the best versions of the story, Stephen has a brilliant way of writing that makes it instantly accessible to anyone. As anyone who has read other transactions of the iliad will know it is full of names and relations and references that are verily easily confused. This simplifies the story without losing any of what makes it so special, in fact if anything it enhances the story in many ways through his brilliant narration which is after all, how the story was meant to be heard and told. I have listened to each of Stephens books in this series and eagerly await to hear if he will give us his version of the Odyssey too.

Mythic!
A fantastic tale told by a brilliant voice. If you're interested in the Illiad, do read that work. This is not an equivalent at all. However, if you have already read it, Fry's rendering of the tale of that great city is a great way to do it.

The narrator made it
Stephen made the story so enjoyable. I didn't want it to end. I saved it for my hour's drive home after work just like I did with his previous book, Mythos. I've just bought Heroes.
Stephen is the best narrator, ever ☺️
Thank you

A Masterpiece of Storytelling for Our Age
Stephen Fry is an enthusiast. At a time when enthusiasm is denigrated as shallow it is wonderful that someone is able to pass on his enthusiasm and inspire the reader or listener to find out more. thank you Mr. Fry.
