When budding garden sleuth Poppy is invited to a party in a beautiful orangery, the last thing she expects is to witness a lethal wasp attack! I've loved listening to this book. I feel like the characters are now my old friends. I really like Nick and Poppy's interactions and I'm looking forward to seeing them develop their friendship more. Bertie is an eccentric character and a source of great amusement. His inventions are totally wacky! This mystery had me entertained and guessing. I was also very intrigued about the connection the characters may have had to Poppy's father. Poppy's slightly shady cousin is lots of fun as well. He will, no doubt, pop up again at some stage to cause bother!
I definitely recommend this series to fans of cosy mysteries.
