a hugely relatable tale of a brilliant business coach. Bill seems like someone you'd want as a friend, as much as a trusted advisor. Some great stories

Good story, miserable voice actor.
Good book. The book taught me a lot and reinforced ideas I’d been noticing at work. Reinforces the concept in other executive books that the real secret to success is being very clever and working with other very clever people.
The voice actor did this really racist Sundar Pichai voice, like those 1950s Spaghetti Westerns where a white guy does the Geronimo voice. It got to the point where I cringed and fast forwarded any time the authors quoted anyone from India.
Great story, but please don’t ask this guy to do Non-American accents... they come across poorly.

One of my new favourite books
Before reading this book I knew nothing about Bill Campbell, after reading it I understand why.
Now he is someone I will look up to within my own career and even in my life outside of work. I will certainly come back and listen to this again and there are very few books I would do that. As you can probably tell, I highly recommend this book.

A great book, lots to think about. Biggest takeaway is to support teams and the individuals within and managing those teams. When someone endangers the team for their own Ego, fire them
