A Waterstones Book of the Year

'Glen Matlock - singer, songwriter, bassist, natural storyteller and a damn fine bloke. It is no surprise Triggers is a brilliant journey' DEBBIE HARRY

'A page turner filled with colourful, illuminating tales' MOJO

'The clearest view yet of punk' LOUDER THAN WAR

A fascinating new book charting the life and career of Sex Pistols legend Glen Matlock through the lens of his most formative songs - from the ones that influenced him as a child to the ones he wrote and played on as a star.

Sharing insider tales of the Sex Pistols' earliest gigs and stormiest reunions, as well as their most idiosyncratic inter-band dynamics, Triggers offers a vivid insight into the ultimate icons of punk. Yet, having performed and recorded with so many musical luminaries over the decades, Glen also reflects on his time with the likes of Iggy Pop, David Bowie, the Faces, Blondie, Primal Scream and many more.

This is the story of an outspoken, uncompromising man and remarkable, game-changing musician. Entertainment & Celebrities Music Şöhret Düşündürücü İlham verici

At times Glen sounds like he just out the dentist and the anaesthetic hasn’t yet wore off. At times he ignores punctuation. But it’s from the horses mouth and a great insight to his perspective of the Sex Pistols, so 5 stars all the way!! Underrated by many and still collaborating with others and developing his own music. All hail Glen Matloc xx

A great listen from stsrt to finish and brilliantly read by Glen Matlock himself. An insight into his life prior to and after the pistols 11 out of 10

Really enjoyed this book - I’m a huge Sex Pistols fan and while there’s obviously a lot of stories about the band, there’s plenty about Glen’s other musical projects too. I even learned new things - bonus. Highly recommended!

Great stories, brilliant narration
