Story
They say time heals all wounds, but it's been five years since my boyfriend died, and I haven't dated since. I threw myself into architecture, and thankfully, there's just no time to wallow or look for love. My friends push me to get back out there, but I'm not ready to be vulnerable again. Then I meet Kev. He dresses like a catalog model, but he talks like he's got an old soul. He shows me what I'm missing but holds his own heart just out of reach. I can't stop falling for him, and he might be worth taking a risk for. Can I believe in myself enough to win his trust and his heart?

Magnus Carlsen is determined to grow old disgracefully. At 52, he doesn’t believe in keeping anything. Men, sofas, books—everything gets jettisoned, eventually. He’s divided his life into happy compartments. A successful trial lawyer, he spends his days lecturing jurors, exasperating judges, and striding arrogantly around courtrooms. The job at Sunday Orchard was supposed to be temporary. A chance to gain some work experience, to have some fun. I had not expected to be welcomed into a family of gorgeous and weirdly efficient lumberjack-types, or to find purpose in the tiny Vermont town whose claim to fame seemed to be apple-based products and copious amounts of charm. And I most definitely hadn’t expected to fall for Knox Sunday, my grumpy, burly, fifteen-years-older, reluctant roommate, with his infuriating lectures, his hot-as-fire body, his superior attitude - I’ve never been one to put down roots.

Summary
The last place Evan Vincent expected to be dumped was at his engagement shoot...in a dude ranch in Tennessee. Four years of working for his ex for free and standing in his shadow leave Evan reeling with the sudden freedom. Escaping here and working for the ranch owner for a few months could give Evan a chance to regroup...and rebound. That can’t be a bad idea, can it?
Running a dude ranch takes up all of Josh King’s time and energy. He escaped the place briefly before his dad died and left it to him - along with the memories and the guilt. Even his best friends don’t know the skeletons in his closet. Josh isn’t going to risk his heart when all Evan wants is a good time, doesn’t he?
They don’t know if they’re fighting to turn a rebound into more or to keep it from becoming more. Both seem equally scary for two men with trembling hands and aching hearts, but there’s no denying that they go together like mac and cheese. And maybe - just maybe - this sudden passion is exactly what they were both missing. Is this the best timing ever or the worst timing ever?
Tremble is a stand-alone gay romance novel with a HEA ending and no cliff-hanger.

Yes! another beautiful story, full of love, kismit, heart and joy. an unusual start for these two but the development and journey felt real. Favorite entry in the series
I've probably said this more than once about an entry in this series, but this one is now my favorite. I love the setting of the ranch and how Evan ends up working there. I love all the details about the ranch and how Josh is running it. If you loved Mary Calmes' ranch book, More Than Life I think you'll love this one too. Both are brought expertly to life by the inimitable Greg Boudreaux. These characters live because E. Davies and Greg Boudreaux are one of the best pairings ever in audiobooks. I am rapidly working my way through all their work together and every one has been a gem.

I'm going to miss the "brothers."
Greg Boudreaux did another fine job with his performance of this story. I loved Tremble; it might now be tied for my favorite of the series (Trace is the other one). Josh is just so darn sweet and he and Evan make a terrific couple.
I loved how compassionate Josh was with the two young men he hired to work for him and that he was willing to give Adam a second chance when he probably didn't even deserve it.
This has really been a great series and I enjoyed Tremble very much.

Perfect ending to an amazing series.
Okay, so this one might be my favorite (I don’t know, it’s too close to call!). But this this book was just so darn sweet, but with enough tension to make it so it wasn’t saccharine. Josh was the significant brother I felt we knew the least about, which makes sense once you know his history and how it’s made him close off his emotions. But while that could turn some people into grade A jerks, it has made him so completely kind and caring, it’s impossible not to love him. And Evan, well I adored Evan, and watching him learn to stand on his own to feet after a terrible relationship is a complete joy. These two needed each other, and it was a perfect way to close out the series, giving us the amazing, sweet, and funny love story you can expect in each book of this series.

Rebound Romance = True Love!
I think this was the sweetest of the series. The characters in Tremble are both 100% ripe for love and all they need is each other. It's a true example of right place-right time, and the rebound romance is a complete success.
When I'm in the mood for funny, sexy, well written romances, E. Davies is a guaranteed winner. The Significant Brothers series is wonderful, and available as an audiobook collection beautifully performed by Greg Boudreaux. Talk about a bang for your buck!

I read this book last year, but just listened
Love this series and this book is just as good as the others. Each book can be read independently but it's also good to read in order as the brothers are always mentioned.
Evan is from New York on vacation for his engagement when his whole world as he knows it ends.
Josh who is far too busy for a relationship as he has a dude ranch to run feels sorry for Evan and his predicament.
Thoroughly enjoyed this book, josh is someone who has to help people regardless of what they've done. It's a real feel good book. The whole significant brothers series, they are so much fun.

A lovely conclusion to this series
Out of all the Significant Brothers, Josh was the one I connected with the most. His kind-hearted, hard-working nature was undeniably attractive, and I wanted to see him find happiness so badly. Evan wasn't the man I expected Josh to fall for, but after seeing how precious their meet-cute was and how ridiculously compatible they were in bed, I was thoroughly convinced there could be something special between them. Initially I wasn't sure how believable it was for Evan to hop from a broken engagement to the next appealing stranger, but E Davies did an excellent job showing his and Josh's inner struggle to come to terms with their lightning-fast attraction. This couple did suffer a little bit from a stereotypical lack of communication, but given both men's backstories it felt fitting that miscommunication would be the root of all their relationship problems. In addition to the sweet romance, I loved getting to learn more about how the ranch operated. Listening to the way Josh interacted with his employees only made me love his compassionate nature even more, especially how he was willing to stick his neck out for those who really needed the help. In every audio I've reviewed from this series, I've praised Greg Boudreaux's narration, and once again I have only good things to say about his performance. I'll certainly miss these light-hearted contemporary romances now that this series has come to a close, but knowing that each Significant Brother is living his happiest life is really all I could ask for.
**I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this book. This review expresses my honest thoughts and opinions.

Best of the Series
Tremble is the sixth book in the Significant Brothers series and while all of the books are great, this one is hands-down the best. The author definitely saved the best for last. In Tremble, we see the last Significant Brother, Josh, the lonely rancher, finally find love with Evan, a vacationer at Josh’s ranch who was there for engagement photos, and then was dumped by his fiance. Josh and Evan are a perfect match, and the title of this one is spot-on because you have two very skittish, vulnerable, affection-starved men, trying to find the courage and trust to be together.
Josh works night and day on his ranch and doesn’t encounter many people, no less have an opportunity to date. He’s watched his five best friends, his Significant Brothers, all fall in love and find their HEAs in a short period of time. While he’s very happy for them, it spotlights how isolated and alone he is, and reinforces the conclusion that he won’t find love like theirs, not unless Mr. Right miraculously shows up at his front door. Yeah, about that … Enter Evan, who does literally show up at his front door. Evan is adorable. He’s heartbroken, scared and lost and Josh is there to protect and support him. The connection between these two is so evident; they just fit together, even more so than some of the other SB couples. Overall, this story is a feel-good, fluffy, heartwarming read and I loved everything about it.
Greg Boudreaux’s narration is a great bonus to an already terrific story. His vocal range and character distinctions are excellent - love the country twang! - and, as usual, everything is just on-point with his delivery. His narration is packed with the context and emotion of what’s happening in the scenes and what the characters are feeling, even if that feeling isn’t expressly spelled out on the page. Having listened to his narration throughout this series, I have to say that he is now one of my favorite narrators. He’s just so natural about it; nothing feels forced, he just fits right in and delivers these characters to us in a very three-dimensional way. Looking forward to hearing more of his work.

Farm love is the freshest and sweetest
The sweetest little addiction to a great series! Josh and Evan are jade made for each other and I’m all for their lovey-dovey acts!
Evan thought he was going on a much needed vacation with his fiancée and little did he know, he was dumped right then and there at the dude ranch where they are visiting. May be he should just stay there, recoup and and start afresh. Plus, that ranch owner Josh is an eye candy. And Josh has been waiting for that true love all his life. And he arrived right at the doorstep of his dude ranch literally, so cute and sweet. Let the country romance begin.
Josh is THE best! So protective and loving and understanding. And our Evan was a bit hesitant at first because of the previous relationship trauma but these two settled into their new life quickly. This was super cute and heartwarming. I’m so happy and grateful to listen this whole series. And did I tell you? Greg Boudreaux’s stellar performance is just so exquisite. Highly recommended!

Sweet Insta-love Story Is Series Best
"Tremble" is my favorite story and audio of the Significant Brothers series. Rancher Josh and marketing specialist Evan meet as Evan's fiance dumps and abandons him at Josh's ranch, where the not-so-happy couple were vacationing to have engagement photos taken. While Josh is initially wary of taking advantage in Evan's vulnerable state, affection-starved Evan is more than eager for a rebound. Theirs is a case of near insta-love, as hookups quickly give way to feelings, and they have a spark and connection that felt genuine and stronger than previous Significant Brothers couples. This a warm, sweet and hopeful journey with some depth for two very likeable characters that left me smiling. Narrator Greg Boudreaux delivered a wonderful performance, and I especially enjoyed the country twang in Josh's voice. As with the other audio books in the series, this was an easy and pleasant listen. I received this free review copy audio book by request and have left this honest review voluntarily.

Best for last
While I haven’t read all the books in this series, I’m familiar with most and I have to say Josh and Evan’s story is my favorite of the Significant Brothers. There is so much going on under the facade these characters present to others. It’s so moving following them as they heal from past hurts and become comfortable with their true selves while getting tangled up in each other. As with the others in the series that I’ve listened to, Greg Boudreaux does a fantastic job with the voices and emotions of the story. I’ll definitely be keeping this one on rotation for listening to again.

Sweetest Ending
This just might be the sweetest of the series and they saved the best for last. Quiet Josh finally gets his HEA. His story is so heartbreaking then add in Evan's and it's just the best little romance. It's a pretty light, low angst and happy listen. Narration is done well as always and just enhances the story.

Rancher and a city slicker
Tremble wraps up this Significant Brothers series with a rancher and city slicker pairing. Josh has been popping in and out of the other stories when the Brothers would meet and was cast into a more frequent role in the last book. This gave the readers a more proper glimpse of him and a feeling that there was something simmering in the background of his character. So I enjoyed delving further into Josh's personality in Tremble. Evan's character was coming off of a several-years relationship and it was hard to decide if this was a rebound-only situation. They had great chemistry and both showed maturity throughout with low angst.
I have listened to this entire series in order and loved getting to know each of the Brothers in their stories. Even though they are interconnected, I believe they can easily be read as stand-alones. The narrator did a great job of giving some individual distinction to the different character voices and portrayed emotions exceptionally well. Listening to his voice is easy and enjoyable.
I have liked each of the books and especially felt the author did an excellent job with details on all the different occupations that the Brothers and their significant others have had. Their careers have been very diverse in nature and interesting to weave into these stories. Well done!

Evan and Josh
Tremble is book 6 in the Significant Brothers series. This is a beautifully written story and maybe my favorite in the series. When Evan is left at Josh's ranch by his then fiancé, he has no idea that his life is going to change forever. Josh is the sweetest person and wants to help Evan any way he can. He gives Evan a job and a place to live for as long as he needs. I love when they got together and realized they both deserved better then the way people had treated them. I love their idea of what to do with the ranch in the future. I love this series and recommend it.
Narrator Greg Boudreaux does an amazing job.
