Summary

Bramble Challoner has had a very normal upbringing. She lives in the suburbs of London with her parents and works at the call centre down the road. She still goes out with the boy she met at school. Bramble is dying for an adventure. So when her grandfather, Lord Penrose, dies, leaving his huge, rambling house in Cornwall to her, Bramble packs her bags immediately, dragging along her best friend Katie. The sleepy village of Tremarnock had better be ready....

A Lightweight Holiday Listen

Bought as a cut-price offer, I found this the perfect not-too-taxing listen for a sunny day. Obvious characterization, more ups and downs than a funfair....and I thoroughly enjoyed it for being unashamedly what it was.

Tremarnock summer

Loved all three of the Tremarnock books. Any easy listen, good characters that blend into the storylines. One almost wants more, let’s hope there is another book in the pipeline.

Love this series

Fabulous characters, dreamy landscapes and believable plots. Chick lit it may be, but I love the way each book visits the same place but from a different person's perspective each time. Roll on the next one.

First class story and interesting and enjoyable enough to read in the day. Looking forward to the development of this new series. Ms Bybee is a top class entertainer. Top class narration by Emma Wilder
