Loved part 1 of this book.

The story is exciting and kept me interested. At 59 I have read a lot of books and can get quite irritated when I recognise stories that are too similar to each other. I love a good authentically new story and so I highly recommend this book. I only have one negative and that is the shortness of each of the books in this series. I usually do not pay for any book that is as short as these ones. I understand that maybe this was the perfect place to end book 1 and the rest of the series are short too but it just makes me feel ripped off. I have to use audible nowadays due to some disabilities and it can get quite pricey for the audiobooks. So I try to get the most for my money. However I am so glad I broke my rule this time. Thank you so much and now I am going to listen to book 2......i will let you know how I get on listening to this one! 😉

Easy listening but problems abound

Good narration, easy listening and interesting premise, which is why I forgave this book’s grossly simplistic, naive and corny storyline. Characters demonstrated little intelligence and any realism was sacrificed in order to promote rapid story development. On balance, it had a very Scooby Doo feeling about it, more suited for teenagers I think.

Brilliant

I would recommend this book to anyone. Well written and a good sci-fi thrill.
If you are not sure, be reassurred that it is worth it.

Phenomenon (that Travolta movie) meets contact.

The story is fine and it's well written.
I like the narrator's job here too.
