About this listen
This Second Edition of Transform Your Life And Save The World was published in 2019 and amended in 2021. The book is supported by a very informative website at humancondition.com.
The world is in crisis! What is the solution? Ultimately, we have to find the redeeming, and thus transforming, understanding of our psychologically troubled human condition. And it is precisely that dreamed-of insight, and its now desperately needed transformation of our lives, that Australian biologist Jeremy Griffith presents in this book.
Titled Transform Your Life And Save The World - Through The Dreamed Of Arrival Of The Rehabilitating Biological Explanation Of The Human Condition, this book is a very short but powerful condensation of Griffith’s definitive treatise of the human condition that is presented in his book FREEDOM: The End Of The Human Condition.
The genesis of Transform Your Life And Save The World lay in Griffith’s address at the June 2016 launch of FREEDOM at the Royal Geographical Society in London. Commencing with very brief extracts from Tim Macartney-Snape’s Introduction at the launch, and Sir Bob Geldof’s keynote address, it goes on to summarise FREEDOM’s content in 3 powerful chapters: ‘The Dishonest Biology’, ‘The Truthful Biology’, and ‘The Resulting Transformation Of The Human Race’.
As Professor Harry Prosen, a former President of the Canadian Psychiatric Association, has said, “I have no doubt this biological explanation of the human condition is the holy grail of insight we have sought for the psychological rehabilitation of the human race.”

Sing a song of Freedom and all will be well.
I heard about the concept and wanted to know more. I listened to this book and heard no more.
What I heard was a repetition of the concept’s basic assertion that we are inherently good told to us over and over in every way possible.
“Mankind is fundamentally good and has been enticed to the dark-side”
The main supporting ‘evidence’ being references to the bible, poems and many pop song lyrics.
We ‘learn’ that Dylan and Lennon are the prophets we should listen to as they sing the truth.
At no time and in no way does the author suggest or even speculate on how our new FREEDOM can actually be attained.
Persuading everyone to accept that we should all be ‘nice’ to each other seems relatively easy! Actually getting everyone in the world to BE nice seems somewhat impossible.
A perfect example of hope over experience.
I am reminded of Jack Nicholson in the movie saying “ Why can’t we all just get along”… just before being blasted by the alien.

The hollow husk!
Nothing enlightening, driven by religion; have faith, but not in this book. I should have known better!

Enlightening
A journey that turns our previously held preconception of the human condition on its head and challenges our current understanding of
society, Religion and politics.
