Summary

Every skier knows that anything can happen when trails merge.

After a devastating ultimatum from her lover, Campbell Carson returns to her childhood home, Bear Run Ski Resort, seeking her family's unconditional solace and support. Parker Riley escapes to the mountain after the high-powered world of Chicago's political machine leaves her questioning her judgment in both life and love. Despite their initial wariness, the women find their budding friendship snowballing toward romance. The idyllic mountain resort is the perfect setting for them to learn to rebuild trust, and perhaps to find a second chance at love. However, when Parker's past resurfaces, Campbell is forced to face her own hard truths. As barely healed wounds reopen, the unexpected obstacles in their path threaten any hope for a future together.

Sweet and fun

A lovely story skilly written. The back stories are good and the character tension spot on.
To correct a previous reviewer - this is not a lesbian meets straight woman plot. Both main characters are out and comfortable with it - so, thankfully, no tedious coming out drama.
Narration on the other hand is not great - it's just tolerable. The narrator over acts and some of the characters become caricatures.

Gripping

This story included some expected directions, but the majority of the luscious tension moments had unexpected resolutions. Great story.

Good listen!

The story was pretty good. I liked the dynamic between the characters. The author didn't give character background until a ways into the book, so I was pleasantly held in suspense to figure them out. The narrator also made me enjoy the book as well, nothing spectacular, just pleasant to listen to. Overall good book!

Loved this audio.

I loved Trails Merge. Excellently narrated by Lori Prince. Great story. Lesbian meets straight woman plot.
