brilliant story almost felt like you were reading some one's actual account! I especially liked the author talking about why she wrote it,where her influence came from and the reason why she wrote it the way she had.

Wow! Loved this audiobook. I read this book the week previous and thoroughly enjoyed it. I have to admit that it's not the genre of book I would usually read/listen to but I have recently become a massive fan of Sibel Hodge's having read some of her other books. I am so glad I read this! I literally couldn't put it down. The story grips you from the start and pulls you into Elena's world. When I listened to the audiobook I found the narrators voice perfectly matched how I imagined Elena's voice to sound and this certainly enhances the feeling that this story is true to life and you immediately empathize with Elena's predicament. The story has exciting parts that keep you wanting to hear more.
I would urge anyone to listen to this audiobook. You will not be dissapointed.
On a serious note it made me aware of the trafficking industry and it really shocked me that this actually happens in today's world. More needs to be done to prevent this from happening and free the poor women that sadly live this terrible life. Thank you for writing such a gripping, thought provoking book Sibel.

Hard hitting topic and written for a really good cause with 20% of the profits going to charity but as someone put it before in the reviews, hard to connect with the character. Even the parts of the story where your heart should be racing as you hope for her escape just didn't quite hit the mark.
I'd describe it as just okay.
