An intruiging mystery drama

As a fan of BBC radio dramas, I'm always on the lookout for the next one rather than an audio book read by one person verbatim. I'm typically drawn to the more sci-fi style such as hitchhikers guide, LoTR, Dirk Gently, Good Omens etc. as opposed to straight up crime dramas, however I felt that this was a great balance of thriller and mystery in the sense that it is a sort of conspiracy theory more grounded in reality than sci-fi. A good mix of both genres, with less emphasis on the science fiction but that still being present.
I really enjoyed the audio quality, the sound effects and the performances, I felt drawn in by it and didn't feel put off as I sometimes do by over acting or rubbish sound effects. I'm really looking forward to using my next credit to purchase season 3-4 then hopefully season 5 if the former lives up to expectations. I would recommend this.

Maybe the future

Thought provoking drama, nice little twist in an albeit short second series, but it compliments the first nicly, in the first, just when you think you've worked it out, along comes another twist that sends you of (Track) pardon the pun, narrated superbly by the cast, I'd recommend bed and lights off to send you into some future world that just might happen, enjoy!

Over-acted

I found the story far-fetched and the narration was over-acted on occasion. I know it was meant to be heard in installments, but it was really annoying to hear the repetition at the beginning of each episode. The noise of the plane was that of a large airplane, yet it was a small plane with few passengers! If you’re going to use these sound effects, please use something closer to reality! I can’t say I particularly enjoyed this.

5 stars for series one but series two was awful!

I think I have said it all in the title!
Luckily all but about the last hour was great - that was series one - But the final two episodes - series two were very poor!

A Gem Of A Find

I decided to give this one a try because I had a free credit and often like to look for new dramas and saw it. What a gem. This series could have quite easily been shown on Sky Atlantic it is that good. Acting is top draw, sound design and music selections ar stella and the pacing is perfect.

I must also credit Audible because when I initially downloaded it, the entirety of series two was missing. I wrote to them explaining this and now it's all here - the joys of cloud computing.

Anyone who likes conspiricy dramas will eat this one up. Now, if you don't mind, I have to make tracks because I want to listen all over again.

Series one great, series two not so good

I really enjoyed the first series which was interesting and intriguing in equal measure, however the second series felt oddly out of sync with the first and somewhat lost my attention to the point I didn't finish it.

Had me gripped from start to finish,

Wow this audio did not disappoint, it keeps you guessing as you follow hellen through each chapter. Just when you think you have worked it out it spins your idea on its head.

I listened to it in the car and found my self staying sat in my car at home till the chapter ended I was that gripped.

The actors did an amazing job and makes you feel like your part of the story.

This is a must listen for any audible listener and well worth the money.
