Summary

Trapped.

How to heal from an abusive relationship and reclaim your happiness, stability, health, and self-worth without hurting your children? Do you feel invisible in your marriage - like your thoughts and opinions don’t matter? Does your wife cheat, lie, manipulate, and abuse you, yet rarely does she take responsibility for her actions? Has she cut you off from your friends, made you feel like everything is your fault, and broken you down with belittling words? If "yes", then you might be dealing with a toxic wife.

One out of four men face abuse by an intimate partner, and the numbers are likely to increase. Men stuck in toxic marriages rarely receive empathy because people expect them to be “stronger” and “able to withstand anything. And, with more cases of men silently struggling with mental illness and suicide, it’s essential to talk about this issue that society has swept under the rug for so long: men in toxic relationships.

Toxic wives are hard to identify and even harder to separate from because they make their partners believe they deserve the mistreatment. It takes a lot of courage to admit openly that your wife is abusing you, and before you know it, you doubt your ability, worth, and life’s purpose. You aren’t crazy or reading too much into it - you are being played! It’s time to get out of that hole of hopelessness and reclaim your happiness.

In Toxic Wives, you’ll discover:

  • How to heal from an abusive marriage and reclaim your happiness, no matter how long it has been going on
  • The patterns and traits of a toxic relationship that your wife may have used to blindside you during the entire relationship
  • How to identify different types of abuse - from sociopaths and psychopaths to narcissists and highly insecure partners
  • How to speak up and protect your dignity without hurting your children’s future or failing as a father and much more!

Let down by the narration

Refreshing to see a book from a male victim’s perspective. Although ultimately it retreads familiar territory to similar books in the genre of overcoming toxic relationships but it is let down by the narration. An internet search shows the narrator to be a real person but the recording sounds like an AI reading, which is really distracting and feels like there is no connection with the material.
