An explosive love triangle, a formidable matriarch and a house party of enemies. All drawn inexorably … Towards Zero.

Now Anjelica Huston and a star-studded cast feature in a brand new BBC adaptation of Agatha Christie's tense, ingenious novel. Read it before you see it!

What is the connection between a failed suicide attempt, a wrongful accusation of theft against a schoolgirl, and the romantic life of a famous tennis player?

To the casual observer, apparently nothing. But when a houseparty gathers at Gull’s Point, the seaside home of an elderly widow, earlier events come to a dramatic head.

It’s all part of a carefully paid plan – for murder…

Agatha Christie is wonderful!! No matterhow many of her books I read, she's great!

Once again Agatha triumphs

There aren't many possible suspects as with many Agatha Christie stories, but even if you suspect whodunnit, you may nit guess the reasons why. To be honest, it's not all about the crime, it's also about different people, their characters and relationships. That's what makes Hugh Fraser's narration so extraordinary. You subtly get this varying characters and he's brilliant at women characters too, be they strong, grumpy or delicate. I wish he read all the Agatha Christie novels. He is so right to read them.

Good, long story, read superbly

Hugh Fraser narrated this very well, much better than some of his other recordings. The plot was clever with an interesting twist. The role of MacWhirter was rather unnecessary; he had a more significant role in the Radio 4 dramatisation.

Well constructed plot but long winded.

Hugh Fraser is a fantastic narrater and brings another of Agatha Christie's intruiging murder mysteries to life. Very entertaining and enjoyable.
