About this listen

Eye of the Taiga!

Takasu Ryuuji might look like a thug, but he's actually a nice guy. Making friends when you've got an unintentionally scary face is tough--and don't even get him started on girlfriends. But with his secret crush in his class, the start of his second year of high school is off to a good start...until he crosses paths with Aisaka Taiga. Beautiful, frightening, and not quite five feet tall, the girl known as the palmtop tiger is the one person in school even scarier than Ryuuji himself--and he's just made the mistake of making her very, very angry.

the reading is either very descriptive or a bit vague at times, but if you've already had experience with the story of Toradora then you shouldn't really suffer from any issues.

I'm really enjoying listening to this and eagerly wait for the rest of the story

decent reading of a lovely story

Toradora is a classic, a legendary story loved by many. The start to this story is amazing, it quickly sucks you in, it's incredibly detailed and if tky have seen the TV adaption, this is incredibly better, so much detail making the immersion better than ever.

Initially I wasn't so sure on the narrator but she quickly grows on you m, her performance is actually very good, I was used to the Japanese voices so hearing this at first was dubious but she does a great job as the volume develops. She expresses Taiga's emotions pretty well.

Definitely worth picking up, regardless if you have never interacted with the series, it's a great chance to enjoy a legendary classic, and for fans of the series, it's a fun chance to re-visit the story with more depth to the story.

A Classic but better
